that i have shopped more for the next 3 months of kits than on Christmas itself..LOL...but that's ok...because it is so much fun t o shop...i have gotten vintage fabrics...feed sacks....buttons....sewing notions...valentine stuff...trim...goodness i am like a shopaholic....and poor evan he just goes along for the ride... :)...so I really hope your December is going well...i finished up my semester of school..and got a A in my sewing class...I was a little worried i was going to get a B...but i guess i have good attention to detail...thank goodness...so i got all my photos yesterday...so i can get the project links caught up...and most of my shopping is all done...the kit was going to go live today...but my stuff i ordered from etsy and hambly are not here yet...hopefully tomorrow...so what have all of you been doing....also here is the winner to the dollar spot book kit....

unny this should come up! My hubby just asked me a few minutes ago if things were better because he said I was having a pretty rough Monday evening when I got home from work! It was stinkin cold today, but at least it didn't rain (or snow). I don't mind the snow except when people don't know how to drive in it and abandon their cars on the freeway!

YUP...it's a monday...alright...

I knew this morning to when I woke up that today for me was a off day...I was grumpy!!...tired from a LONG soccer weekend {still trying to de-thaw}...i knew my to-do list was ginormous...and I also new I had to take my kiddos to school in the down pour rain...and get them up and ready as they were tired to...goodness monday...like why...why monday..why so awful today...so i decided to stay grumpy today...i did try a couple of times to get in a better mood..but lulu being inside ALL day didn't help that..my nervous nellie dog of mine..and then...it came to me...the target bag i had brought in from the car...and the treasure that was in there calling my name...so we all know target has the dollar spot...love that spot...and the other day when i was there i saw these books...and my brain was like...oooohhh i could cut that all apart and make the cutest holiday album...so that is what I did..I started it..it's not done yet...as soon as i get it all finished I will post the whole album....so here you...go to the spot...and pick some up...all you do is cut them apart with a xacto knife and cover with pattern paper...so simple..i added some of that wet snow to the top of the book so it looked like snow on it...but i bought a few of the books...so if you want one...just leave a comment on how YOUR monday has been..and I will make a whole little kit for you ribbons and all... :)...k ladies...oh also here is a pic of me and some of my soccer girls trying to stay warm and block the wind....and this weekend we are in the semi finals in Coronado..a 8am game..come on..so early..but we placed 1st in our bracket so very proud of them..and my lillie was on fire in the keeper box....LOVE it..k enjoy..and

Holiday Whimsy's...kit

If you ordered this kit and want to do the 25 days of christmas...go ahead and start taking your pictures tomorrow for each day for the book...(that is the kind i am doing) the kits should ship by tuesday...so you wont be to far behind....JUST TAKE YOUR PHOTOS....and seriously ladies THANK YOU...

Busy lady...

No worries though...the to-do list is getting crossed off and it feels good to be SO productive today...Also I wanted to let you know if you were missing a October album..they have been mailed...if you get your nov kit and your ALBUM is not in there PLEASE let me know asap...I still have a few left here so I know someone got missed :( :(...also I posted this over on my facebook..but I know some of you don't use that addicting site..LOL...but it is my menu for this week...people often have the misconception that since you work from home your days are easier...NOT!!! they are harder than going into a office everyday..especially for me...only because i am a neat freak...and when I see something dirty or laundry that has to be done I stop what I am doing and clean...not good..I really should just walk past it..but I can't..LOL...so one thing though that helps me SO much is weekly menu planning..it enables me to grocery shop off a list..and keeps me on budget from not eating out...plus I never have to do the 5pm rush..like what's for dinner...some weeks are easy food..some weeks i get a little more involved in cooking and baking...{usually on a non shipping week)..but for the most part they are just easy recipes that I can usually start around 4ish and dinner is done by 6ish...and YES we all eat at the table together...(which is something that is being lost in this society) unless lillie has soccer we eat around 7ish...I know this has nothing to do with PDW...but I always get asked about my menus..so here go...and if you have a favorite recipe pass it along..I am always looking for those...happy Monday ladies....

a quick question...

as I sit here and work on PDW's new style....i have a question....of course we are going to always continue our main kit...and sometimes the add on kit....BUT..as for the specialty kit...would you like something pre-cut and packaged...so all you have to do is assemble....I am just wondering if you would like to email me personally feel free... and again THANK YOU....

Hi ladies...the subber newsletter will be going out shortly...excited for you to see the kit...it screams holiday...so besides that...how has your week been...i  have been doing clean up ever since the whimsy crop...which was SO much fun....I will be doing anther one in february...because we had a blast... :)....also I wanted to thank you for all your WONDERFUL suggestions about PDW....also starting this month until march we will only be offering one kit..the main one....I just thought I would slow things down a bit while the holidays are here and all the new pdw stuff going on....and the january kit will give you a preview of what the new site will look like...also I have some one to introduce to you....she has been a pdw customer FOREVER....and now she gets to work a little behind the scenes....I will tell you more about her in the newsletter... and I cannot be more thrilled to have her...she has already found me the new DT for pdw and wait to you see there work....cierra , and jennifer and stephanie...will also continue to bring your all there lovelys every month....also i am SO thankful that I am able to continue to do this every month...because of all of YOU....Ok I have more to say but I will save it for the newsletter...also here are a couple of pics from the whimsy crop...and a few from my b-day...i was shopping for all of you.. he he he...
